I loved this podcast! As far as finding good people for jobs – I was always told to ask the people who know. It’s the concept behind the success of Yelp, Google, Angie’s List, Amazon, and real-time navigation: aggregation! So, f you’re looking for a plumber, ask the person at the plumbing supply company with the most experience. If you’re looking for a contractor, ask a similarly seasoned person at The Home Depot, Lowe’s or True Value. Of course, that will tell you if the person’s busy, does good work, and is personable. It doesn’t mean they’re good business people or managers!
